 God, in His Word, calls believers to bring up their children; "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord,” Ephesians 6:4. The instruction, based on the Word of God, is provided in the Word of God, and is in accord with the Word of God. The Bible is the essential basis for teaching this truth in all subjects.
The Christian school provides a moral environment in which the children work and play. There is a tendency towards influencing the children's ethical attitudes and behavior. When all of the instruction is God-centered, the love and fear of God are stirred up in the children's hearts. In addition, the Christian School points out to the child that he is called to love, fear and obey God. Out of thankful love to God and His Christ, he is to honor his parents, submit to his teachers, subject himself to the State, live purely, love his neighbors on the playground, and work at his studies to the best of his ability.
The reward is implied in the proverb, "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he grows old, he will not depart from it," Proverb 22:6. It is a joyful work for the teachers of Christian Center School to be instrumental in training children to live and work in this world to seek the Lord our God in everything.
It is not the purpose of our school to reform the character of children. It is our purpose to provide an environment where the character of children from Christian homes can be preserved and promoted, and tomorrow’s leaders prepared.
