Volleyball

As a major competitor on the Mt. Christian League, our volleyball team works hard to come together as one unit and make sure we get the job done with good attitudes and encouraging words. Our Character is one goal that we all strive to perfect, resulting in greater team strength. It is always exciting to see the team’s potential come together each year.   Thank you to all our supporters! 2015-2016 Volleyball Season

We had an incredible season this year! To start things off we took first place at our Pre-Season Tournament! The girls showed an amazing amount of growth in their skill, leadership qualities and sportsmanship this year. I am always excited to see the girls grow into their gifts and abilities that God has given them. We really focus on the team aspect, knowing that it takes a whole team to accomplish goals, not individuals. As a coach I love to see the girls master skills and move onto the next level, but I am the most proud when the refs and coaches from the other teams tell me how fun it is to watch our team play and how well they compose themselves whether we win or lose. At our end of the year Mountain Christian League Tournament we took second place. My hope each year is to keep strengthening our volleyball program and while in the midst of competition, show Christ-like character along with building relationships as we play!
