S.T.E.M.

At CCS, we realize the importance of preparing our students to be able to compete in today’s job market.  Our S.T.E.M. classes begin in kindergarten and go all the way through advanced classes for high school students.  Our students will get introduced to activities that can help get them excited about the millions of jobs that are now available as they transition to college and the workforce.  During STEM class, the students enjoy learning through activities that will create interest in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields.  Some of the skills they will practice during their STEM classes are: 

• Expanding creativity and imagination

• Problem solving real world problems

• Coding and robotics

• Teamwork, engagement, and excitement

• Trial and error experimentation with iteration

• Critical thinking skills and exploration

• First Lego League

• Hands on Activities
