Theater Program

The history of our theater program is one that goes back over 20 years.  High school students would perform an original play every spring, and alumni still enjoy telling stories from those years! In 2017, CCS launched its first upper school musical theater program. Under CCS directors, including Annie Marshall, Kira Lambas, and Addie Turner, along with other accomplished directors from the Coeur d'Alene area, students have performed inspiring shows such as Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, Frozen Jr., Bridge of Blood, and The Lion King Jr.   

Over the years, students and directors alike have been blessed by a program that has put to practice the promise from Ephesians 3:20 from “...Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” 

While each show develops the three core areas of dance, acting, and singing, the largest goal of any given show is to develop students’ confidence and risk taking - not just on stage and in front of a crowd - but in the knowledge that when we come with open hands and humble hearts to something the Lord has put before us, that we can be confident of the work He will do in and through us.  

The musicals typically are cast by 7th-12th grade CCS and homeschool  students and are performed in the late Spring. Tickets and annual show announcements can be found here.
